Image capture

Images were obtained from a variety of sources and cameras. The gold mosaic images were photographed using Canon EOS1Ds digital camera and 72" Elinchrom Octabox flash illumination.

Image manipulation

Images were adjusted and composited in Adobe Photoshop CS using Apple Macintosh G4 computers by digital photographer and compositor Michael Cheetham (e-mail michael@wizdenwowworks.co.uk, telephone 07715 117 522).

Main image output

Digital files from Adobe Photoshop CS were used to create 10 inch by 8 inch photographic negatives. These negatives were then used to produce photographic enlargements 5 feet 6 inches by 3 feet in size on photographic paper, at Michael Dyer Associates of London (telephone 020 7836 8354).
